Business Operations Working Student (f/m/d)

Intern / Student, Part-time · Berlin, Hybrid

The ideal candidate is

A proactive and analytical person who is eager to optimize how a lean tech company functions. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the Business Operations and IT teams in building the infrastructure that fuels our success. You are a natural "organizer" who enjoys diving into processes, identifying bottlenecks, and creating automated solutions. You are comfortable navigating complex technical and regulatory frameworks and enjoy translating high-level requirements into practical, operational reality. You bring a "make it happen" attitude and thrive on ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Main objectives of the role
As a Business Operations Working Student (f/m/d), you will work alongside our Chief of Staff to execute projects that enhance our internal infrastructure and operational efficiency. You will be a key driver in ensuring our systems are connected and automated, allowing the company to scale effectively.
Your role and responsibilities
  • Project Management: Take ownership of operational projects of varying sizes. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met, milestones are documented, and project goals are aligned across the IT and Business Operations teams.

  • Automation & Workflow Optimization: Design and implement automations to connect our internal systems. You will focus on reducing manual overhead and improving operational speed by creating seamless digital workflows.

  • Operational Compliance: Support the team in the practical implementation of internal policies and external regulatory frameworks. This involves mapping current workflows against requirements and helping to execute the necessary technical and process adjustments.

  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes to identify bottlenecks. You will collaborate with team members to develop and document process enhancements, ensuring their effective implementation across the organization.

  • Data Support: Assist in collecting and consolidating data from various sources to support decision-making.

What you need to succeed in this role
  • Background: Current Studies in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Economics or a related subject. If you are studying in a different subject, you may still be eligible, so please do not hesitate to apply. However, please note that the job is highly technical.

  • Project Management Skills: You must be a "master of organization" and a killer of deadlines. You will need to have a structured approach to managing tasks and keeping stakeholders informed.

  • "Make it Happen" Attitude: We select candidates that have a strong bias for action and the intellectual curiosity to dive into complex topics, including technical documentation and compliance standards. You are advantaged if you have a responsible working style and a genuine desire to tackle complex technical challenges, including repetitive manual work.

  • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to translate complex project requirements into clear documentation.

  • Software & Automation: We’d like you to have expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets. Familiarity with automation tools or a logical understanding of how APIs and systems interact is a major plus.

Technical Literacy & System Logic: We like better candidates that have an innate ability to understand the "logic" of a tool or software with minimal guidance. Apply if you enjoy exploring documentation, testing edge cases, and understanding how data flows between different systems.

About us
We are a pro audio company from Berlin, Germany. Since early 2011, we have been working on radically transforming audio technology, by re-thinking the underlying physics of sound reproduction. We wondered: What if sound could truly be controlled the way we can control light? What if we could create soundscapes that feel more real than reality? What if every seat in a venue could be made the best seat?

Our solution is science-based, software-driven, and hardware-enabled: the HOLOPLOT Matrix Array. The sound system for a new era, a powerful tool that brings previously inaccessible capabilities to the world of audio.

We believe when people experience better sound, they will enjoy more meaningful moments and create richer memories, leading to more fulfilling lives. At HOLOPLOT, it is our mission to redefine what is possible - enabling unparalleled and breathtaking experiences. A revolution in sound. Be part of it.
