Senior Supply Chain Manager (f/m/d)

A seasoned and pragmatic supply chain professional who thrives in high-impact, time-bound roles. You bring a strong mechanical sourcing background combined with a solid understanding of electronics, and you are comfortable operating across both operational and strategic layers.

You excel in “bridge” roles: stabilising ongoing operations while enabling future product development. You are quick to build trust within established teams, bring structure to complexity, and focus on delivering tangible results from day one.

You are confident in stepping into an interim leadership role, providing stability, direction and support to a small team during a defined period, and ensuring a smooth handover once the permanent Lead returns.

In this role, you will act as a key driver of our supply chain performance, ensuring stability in existing operations while supporting the successful introduction of new products.

• Strategic Sourcing: Own and drive sourcing strategies for mechanical components (e.g. enclosures, chassis, custom hardware) and electronic components (e.g. PCBAs, semiconductors, transducers)

• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, leading negotiations to optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance

• Inventory & Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies align with technical and product requirements, especially in NPI projects

• Interim Leadership (4–5 months): Step in as Team Lead during a parental leave, managing and mentoring a Junior and a Senior Buyer, ensuring continuity, performance, and team stability

After the interim leadership phase, you will transition back into a primarily strategic and operational expert role.

• Experience: 8+ years in Supply Chain Management or Strategic Sourcing within a hardware or manufacturing environment

• Mechanical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience sourcing mechanical components (e.g. metalwork, plastics, assemblies)

• Electronics Knowledge: Good understanding of electronic components and PCBA manufacturing processes

• Logistics Know-how: Familiarity with international import/export processes and supply chain flows

• Leadership Skills: Experience leading or mentoring teams, with the ability to step into temporary leadership roles effectively

• Adaptability & Pragmatism: Ability to quickly create impact in a time-bound assignment and balance short-term execution with long-term thinking

• Communication: Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills; fluent in English and German
  

• Experience in the audio industry or consumer electronics

• Background in scaling supply chains for low-to-medium volume, high-tech products
