Business Central ERP Manager (f/m/d)

The ideal candidate is

You are a technically skilled ERP expert who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business processes. You have a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and are passionate about continuously improving systems to support efficient operations across the organization.

You enjoy solving complex problems, translating business requirements into technical solutions, helping out colleagues with their IT issues and collaborating with different teams. With your structured approach and strong communication skills, you act as a trusted internal consultant and help teams get the most out of the ERP system.

You are proactive, analytical, and motivated by the challenge of building and optimizing scalable systems that support a growing organization.

Your role and responsibilities

Act as the internal expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supporting teams across the organization
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for ERP improvements, integrations, and automation
Lead end-to-end ERP projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and documentation
Configure, customize, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business needs
Collaborate closely with Business Operations, Finance, and Operations teams to implement tailored solutions
Manage and implement system integrations between the ERP and other internal or external systems
Maintain and continuously improve the ERP environment by monitoring system performance and implementing optimizations
Create documentation, training materials, and user guidance to support internal teams
Serve as the main point of contact for external partners and vendors involved in ERP integrations and development
Ensure the ERP system effectively supports the company’s operational and financial processes as the organization grows
Support the IT Helpdesk Team with basic Support Tasks related to the ERP and other SaaS systems

What you need to succeed in this role

4+ years of experience in managing ERP-related projects and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
3+ years of deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and all its modules, with specific focus on Finance, Procurement, Logistics
- Knowledge of the Production module is a plus
3+ years of experience in autonomous management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, its maintenance and optimization
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customization and API integration, incl. programming languages such as AL, C/AL, .NET
Solid understanding of business processes, ideally in finance and operations environments
Strong analytical skills and experience in requirements gathering and problem solving
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions
Fluency in English
Curiosity, ownership, and the motivation to tackle challenging problems
