Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a talented software engineer with a deep understanding of web technologies to join the team behind HOLOPLOT Control, one of the products in the suite of software solutions used to operate, maintain, and monitor HOLOPLOT sound systems.

HOLOPLOT sound installations are high-traffic digital systems that rely heavily on software to aggregate and interpret the telemetric data. HOLOPLOT Control builds upon this data to allow users on-site to better understand, configure and observe the system. Among other things, it allows end users to monitor the health of the system, visualise fine-grained metrics and data points, and optimise audio performance in real-time. In addition, it lets stakeholders explore and interact with their system design by means of spatial 3D models and other novel web-based tools and controls. 

In this role, you will be working in a cross-functional team building high-end web applications and innovating in the field of user experience. You will work on a wide range of problems across the stack to build exceptional software used by audio professionals across the globe.

What you need to succeed in this role

• Formidable experience and proven track record of building tools for the web
• Can-do mentality and courage to take on new challenges
• Positive vibes and desire to contribute to a productive and collegial working environment
• Solid understanding of how the data is stored, transported and consumed in a lifecycle of web applications and beyond
• Good understanding of event-driven software architecture
• Solid experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript on the server and in the browser
• Strong understanding of web pillars (HTML, CSS, Web APIs), as well as experience working with one or more of the reactive front-end frameworks (Vue, React, Svelte, etc)
• High regard for best practices in writing quality code balanced with pragmatism necessary to arrive at the result
• Any knowledge of other programming languages (Go, Python, Rust, C++) is a plus
• Any knowledge about audio systems or music production is a plus
