Main objectives of the role

We are looking for a competent and experienced person to take a key role in our team. As Head of Finance, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and drive HOLOPLOT's financial strategy, structure and department, as well as work closely with other business units to drive efficiencies in our finance-related processes. Your role and responsibilities

• You are responsible for managing and developing all financial processes within the organisation, to ensure efficient, transparent and accurate financial operations
• You will own the financial planning, budgeting and cost control processes to ensure the business is following the plan and stays on track
• You own, set up and develop high-quality reports for management, banks and investors regularly providing detailed insights and recommendations
• You support the management with the necessary transparency and consultation on all finance topics, as well as optimal liquidity planning and the process of acquisition of additional capital to support further growth expansion
• You are establishing a coherent controlling and KPI system to measure the business health and performance on an ongoing basis, including sales and production controlling
• You will further develop the finance team, consisting of accounting, controlling and treasury, and introduce professional structures to support the scaling of Holoplot in the best possible way
• You are passionate about using and implementing smart tools and processes for optimal financial management
• You are responsible for the consolidation of the group accounts, as well as the management of subsidiaries’ finances
• As a member of the leadership team, you will contribute actively to drive the business forward daily and shape Holoplot's strategy and future development into a market leader

What you need to succeed in this role

• 10+ years of working experience as a lead of a finance team with experience in a high-growth and tech-driven environment 
• Expertise with common ERP systems ideally MS Dynamics BC and business intelligence tools, preferably MS Power BI
• You are an extremely structured thinker and number geek, but also a great and clear communicator and an empathetic and decisive leader
• You are familiar with the internationalization of financial functions, including the management of financial transactions with subsidiaries, which you will develop and expand professionally
• Your natural character embraces entrepreneurial thinking and a drive for digitization and automation of processes
• Knowledge of HGB accounting and ideally also in-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Extensive know-how in the area of reporting for senior management, investors and banks and high deadline orientation
• Experience with the establishment of international subsidiaries and the related financial structures
• Fluency in both German and English language
